Dmitrij Dihovichnij (official name: Dykhovichny) was born in 1970 in Moscow.
1992 he emigrates to Düsseldorf, Germany, where he starts his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts first with Prof. Günther Uecker and then with Prof. Fritz Schwegler. During his student years,
Dihovichnij is noted for his artistic transformation of furniture. His fascination for sculpture arizes from his work with objets trouvés.
Today, Dmitrij works as sculptor and painter and lives in Düsseldorf.
